Yield: 2 servings

Total Time: 35 minutes
Estimated Calories: ~900 per serving
Estimated Protein: ~45g per serving

Ingredients

Steak
1 lb flank or skirt steak, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Fries (yes, inside)
1/2 lb frozen fries
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Pinch of salt

Burrito Base
2 large flour tortillas
1/2 cup shredded cheese

Extras
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup guacamole or sliced avocado
Optional: pico de gallo, hot sauce

Directions

Step 1 – Get the fries right first Preheat your oven to 425°F and spread the fries out on a tray in a single layer. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and a pinch of salt, then bake for about 20 minutes until crispy. Shake or flip them halfway through so they don’t stick.

Step 2 – Prep the steak properly Take your sliced steak and pat it dry with paper towels. This helps it brown instead of steam. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, tossing lightly so everything is coated evenly. (dry meat = better sear, always)

Step 3 – Cook the steak hot and fast Heat a pan over high heat and add olive oil. Once it’s hot, add the steak in a single layer and let it cook undisturbed for about 2 minutes before stirring. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until browned with a little char. Don’t overcrowd the pan or it’ll steam.

Step 4 – Warm the tortillas In a dry pan, warm each tortilla for about 20–30 seconds per side until soft and flexible. This makes them easier to roll without tearing.

Step 5 – Build it with intention Lay the tortilla flat and start with a layer of steak in the center, then add fries, then cheese so it melts slightly, then finish with sour cream and guac. Keep everything centered and don’t overfill.

Step 6 – Wrap it tight (this matters) Fold in the sides first, then roll from the bottom up, keeping it tight as you go. Press lightly at the end to seal it.

Step 7 – Optional crisp (don’t skip if you can) Place the burrito seam-side down in a pan over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly golden. This seals it and adds texture.

Step 8 – Serve immediately Slice it in half if you want to show the inside, or leave it whole. Eat while hot, slightly messy, and fully loaded.

Rizz Tip

“If they can finish this without slowing down… yeah, you’re going to see them again.” 😏
