Ingredients
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipped cream
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
Optional: berries, chocolate drizzle, extra whipped cream
Directions
Step 1 – Get the cream cheese right Take the cream cheese out ahead of time so it softens naturally. If you forgot, microwave it for about 10–15 seconds just until slightly soft, not melted. Add it to a bowl with the sugar and vanilla, then mix until completely smooth. Keep going until there are no lumps and the texture looks creamy and spreadable. This step sets the tone for the whole dessert, so don’t rush it.
Step 2 – Fold in the whipped cream Add the whipped cream and gently fold it into the mixture using a spatula. Move slowly, scooping from the bottom and folding over the top instead of stirring hard. This keeps the mixture light and airy instead of dense. You’ll know it’s right when it looks smooth and fluffy and holds its shape without feeling heavy.
Step 3 – Build the layers Add a layer of crushed graham crackers to the bottom of each cup, then spoon in the cheesecake mixture. You can keep it simple with one layer or build it up with another layer of crackers and filling. Try to keep the layers somewhat even so it looks intentional when you serve it.
Step 4 – Chill and let it set Place the cups in the fridge for at least 2 hours so everything firms up. During this time, the texture thickens and the flavors come together. If you try to serve it too early, it will taste fine but won’t hold its shape the same way.
Step 5 – Finish and serve Right before serving, add your toppings. Berries, chocolate drizzle, or extra whipped cream all work. Even a small touch on top makes it look more put together and gives it that “you knew what you were doing” feel.
