Ingredients
1 cup strawberries with stems
6 oz. chocolate (chips or chopped bar)
Optional: whipped cream (highly recommended for… reasons)
Directions
Step 1 – Wash and DRY the berries Rinse the strawberries under cold water, then dry them extremely well with paper towels. Like, really well. Any water left on them will mess with the chocolate and make it clump instead of coating smoothly.
Step 2 – Melt the chocolate Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each one, until smooth. Keep going slowly until it’s fully melted and glossy.
Step 3 – Dip like you mean it Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate, turning it slightly so it coats evenly. Let the extra chocolate drip off before placing it down.
Step 4 – Let them set Place the dipped strawberries on parchment or wax paper and refrigerate for about 15–20 minutes until the chocolate firms up. (this is where they go from “nice” to “oh wait these look legit”)
Step 5 – Serve Plate them clean or stack them slightly for a nicer look ( hipped cream is optional… but also not really optional. It’s great for the strawberries, great for the presentation, and yeah… let’s just say it’s multifunctional. Use responsibly.)
