Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup mixed berries
2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp chia seeds

Optional
dark chocolate drizzle
coconut flakes
granola

Directions

Step 1 – Build the Yogurt Base

In a bowl combine Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. (The vanilla and honey help balance the natural tanginess of the yogurt without turning it overly sweet.)

You want the texture thick enough to spread while still feeling smooth.

Step 2 – Spread Everything Evenly

Line a tray or plate with parchment paper and spread the yogurt mixture into an even layer about 1/2 inch thick. (Too thin and the bark becomes icy. Too thick and it gets difficult to break apart later.)

Try to keep the surface relatively level so it freezes consistently.

Step 3 – Add Texture and Color

Sprinkle berries, walnuts, chia seeds, coconut flakes, or granola evenly across the top. (This is where the bark stops feeling like frozen yogurt and starts feeling like an actual satisfying snack.)

The berries add freshness while the walnuts help create crunch and richness.

Step 4 – Freeze Until Firm

Place the tray into the freezer for at least 3 hours until completely firm. Once frozen, break it into rough uneven pieces with your hands or a knife. (The rough homemade look actually makes it feel more rustic and satisfying.)

Store the bark frozen until ready to eat.

Step 5 – Build Better Sweet Snack Habits

Recipes like this work well because they still feel cold, sweet, and satisfying without relying entirely on heavily processed desserts. (Healthier habits usually last longer once treats still feel fun and enjoyable.)

The protein from the Greek yogurt also helps make the snack more filling than many frozen desserts.

Fork Cancer Tip

Greek yogurt, berries, walnuts, and chia seeds are commonly included in nutrient-dense eating patterns associated with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and balanced snacking habits.
