Ingredients

Base

1 pack Hawaiian rolls (leave them connected)

Filling

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4–6 slices cheese (cheddar or American)

Sauce

1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. mustard
Optional: pickles

Butter Top

2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. sesame seeds (optional but looks good)

Directions

Step 1 – Cook the beef Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder and cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and fully cooked. (get some color on it — that’s the flavor)

Step 2 – Prep the rolls Take the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half horizontally so you have a top and bottom slab. Keep them connected. Place the bottom half on a baking tray. (this is what makes it look like you tried)

Step 3 – Build the sliders Spread the cooked beef evenly over the bottom layer. Add cheese slices across the top, then drizzle ketchup and mustard or add pickles if using. Place the top half of the rolls back on. (even layers = clean bites)

Step 4 – Add the butter topping Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush it over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle sesame seeds if you want that extra look. (this is the glow-up step)

Step 5 – Bake Bake at 375°F for about 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden. (watch the tops — golden, not burnt)

Step 6 – Slice and serve Let it sit for 2–3 minutes, then cut into individual sliders and serve. (pull-apart cheese = automatic win)
