Ingredients
Chicken
1 lb cooked or thin sliced chicken
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt + pepper
Wrap
2 tortillas
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Optional
Hot sauce or yogurt sauce
Directions
Step 1 – Prep the Chicken Fast
If using raw chicken, slice it thin so it cooks quickly. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper so it actually has flavor.
If using pre-cooked chicken, just break it into smaller pieces so it heats evenly and doesn’t feel like leftovers.
Step 2 – Cook or Heat the Chicken
Heat a pan over medium-high and cook or reheat the chicken until it’s hot and lightly browned. Let it sit for a minute so it picks up a little texture instead of just warming through.
While it cooks, hit 15–20 pushups. You’re making a quesadilla, not taking a break.
Step 3 – Build the Quesadilla
Place a tortilla in the pan, add cheese and chicken evenly across one side, then fold it over. Press it down slightly so everything melts together and holds.
Don’t overload it or it won’t flip clean and you’ll regret it immediately.
Step 4 – Cook Until It’s Actually Good
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Flip carefully so it stays together and doesn’t fall apart.
You want a crisp outside and melted inside, not soft and sad.
Step 5 – Slice and Serve
Take it off the pan, let it sit for a minute, then slice it into triangles. Add hot sauce or yogurt sauce if you want extra flavor.
This should feel like something you’d order, not just something you threw together.
Step 6 – Eat Like You Meant It
Eat it while it’s hot and actually enjoy it. This is one of those meals that makes staying on track easy instead of boring.
If you’re smiling while eating it, that’s the whole point.
