Ingredients
6 oz pasta
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup pasta sauce

Directions

Step 1 – Control the Pasta Portion
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta, but use a slightly reduced portion compared to bulk meals. Reserve a bit of pasta water before draining so you can adjust later.
You’re not removing pasta, just keeping it in check so the meal stays balanced.

Step 2 – Build the Protein Base
Cook the ground turkey over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Let it brown slightly before stirring too much so it develops some texture.
While it cooks, knock out 15 pushups. No reason to just stand there.

Step 3 – Build the Sauce
Add the pasta sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes so it thickens slightly and blends with the turkey. Stir occasionally so everything combines evenly.
You want it cohesive, not separate meat and sauce sitting together.

Step 4 – Combine Everything
Add the drained pasta into the pan and mix thoroughly so everything gets coated. If it feels too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it up.
This keeps the texture smooth instead of dry or clumpy.

Step 5 – Keep It Clean
Serve without adding extra oils or heavy toppings. Keep it simple so the calorie balance stays where you want it.
You’re still eating pasta, just doing it smarter.

Step 6 – Eat Like It’s Normal
Sit down and eat the full portion without treating it like “diet food.” Don’t rush it, but don’t drag it out either. This is how you stay consistent without burning out halfway through.
