Ingredients
Flatbread
2 large flatbreads, pitas, or tortillas

Protein
12 oz cooked chicken, chopped or shredded

Sauce
1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce

Cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt + pepper

Optional
Hot sauce, Red pepper flakes, Greek yogurt ranch drizzle, Red onion

Directions

Step 1 – Start with the Flatbread
Place your flatbreads on a baking sheet, pan, or air fryer tray. If they feel soft or flimsy, toast them for 1–2 minutes first so they can actually hold the toppings.
This is the base, so don’t let it be weak. A floppy flatbread is just a sad pizza pretending to be useful.

Step 2 – Build the Sauce Layer
Spread marinara or pizza sauce evenly across each flatbread, leaving a little space around the edges. Don’t flood it, because too much sauce makes the bottom soggy.
You want enough sauce to give pizza energy, not enough to create a crime scene.

Step 3 – Add the Chicken
Spread the chopped or shredded chicken evenly over the sauce. Keep the pieces bite-sized so every slice gets protein instead of one giant chicken chunk ruining the flow.
This is where the meal earns its spot in the book. It looks like pizza, but it’s actually carrying protein.

Step 4 – Season Like You Care
Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the chicken. This makes the flatbread taste finished instead of just assembled.
If you skip seasoning, it tastes like you panicked and threw leftovers on bread.

Step 5 – Add the Cheese
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top so it melts into the chicken and sauce. Don’t dump it all in the middle or the edges will stay dry and boring.
A little cheese goes a long way here. You’re using it to pull everything together, not bury the whole meal.

Step 6 – Cook Until It Looks Legit
Bake, air fry, or pan-toast until the cheese is melted and the edges are crisp, about 8–10 minutes. If using a pan, cover it for a minute so the cheese melts without burning the bottom.
You’re looking for crispy edges, melted cheese, and a flatbread that feels like something you wanted, not something you settled for.

Step 7 – Challenge While It Cools
Let it cool for a minute before slicing so the cheese sets and doesn’t slide everywhere. While it cools, hit 20 pushups or a 30-second plank.
You saved yourself from delivery fees, now earn the first bite.

Step 8 – Slice and Eat
Cut it into slices and eat it while it’s warm. Add hot sauce, red pepper flakes, or a light yogurt ranch drizzle if you want more flavor.
This is the fast-prep meal for when you wanted pizza but still had goals.
