Ingredients
Protein
1 lb lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt + pepper

Base
3 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup diced pickles

Carb Add-On
1 cup cooked rice or Sliced roasted sweet potatoes

Big Macros Sauce
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp pickle juice
Salt + pepper

Directions

Step 1 – Build the Burger Base
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the lean ground beef or turkey. Press it down into the pan and let it sit for a minute or two before breaking it apart so it gets some color.
This is where the burger flavor starts, so don’t just stir it into sad little crumbles right away.

Step 2 – Season Like It’s Not Diet Food
Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper once the meat is mostly cooked. Keep cooking until the meat is fully browned and has a little texture.
You want this to taste like a burger bowl, not like punishment in a pan.

Step 3 – Make the Big Macros Sauce
In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste it and adjust if needed so it has that creamy, tangy burger sauce vibe.
This is the move that makes the bowl feel fun without turning it into a calorie bomb.

Step 4 – Build the Fresh Base
Add shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and pickles to your bowl. Keep everything chopped small so each bite gets crunch, protein, and sauce together.
This is what makes it feel like a burger without needing the bun.

Step 5 – Add the Carb Smart
Add a smaller portion of rice or roasted potatoes to the bowl for balance. Keep it controlled so the meal stays in cut-mode without feeling tiny.
You’re not removing carbs, you’re just using them like you have a plan.

Step 6 – Add the Protein
Spoon the cooked meat over the fresh base while it’s still warm. Let the heat slightly soften the lettuce without turning everything soggy.
That hot-and-cold contrast is what makes this bowl actually good.

Step 7 – Sauce It Properly
Drizzle the Big Macros Sauce over the top or keep it on the side if you’re meal prepping. Don’t drown it all at once unless you’re eating immediately.
Nobody wants a soggy burger salad situation. We’re cutting, not suffering.

Step 8 – Quick Challenge
Before eating, hit 20 pushups or a 30-second plank. You made a burger bowl that fits your goals, so act like you’re serious for half a minute.
No excuses. The sauce is basically doing half the emotional work already.

Step 9 – Eat Like It’s Normal
Sit down and eat the full portion while everything is fresh. Don’t treat it like “diet food” or you’ll mentally ruin it before the first bite.
This is how you keep burger energy in your life without wrecking the cut.
